I used to pay very close attention to presidential elections.
I would watch every debate.
I would get emotional if someone weren’t voting for “my” person.
I would spend all day watching inauguration happenings
A few years ago, I stopped all that.
This election cycle has probably been the least involved I have been in presidential campaigns.
I have no idea what Donny said during his inauguration speech, and I don’t care.
But I also wouldn’t care if Kamala were the one giving the speech…
Cause, for the most part, your city and state politics are likely to impact your day-to-day more than what the president says.
And besides all that – once you have cast your vote, you don’t have much control over what your elected officials do.
So why lose sleep and friends over it?
Dwelling on who the president is and how awful or great they are is mostly another distraction from doing the things that you can control that will have an immediate and tangible impact on your life.
What I’m more concerned about than who is in power is what I can do to have power in my life regardless of who is running the country.
So what am I doing differently with my money strategy now that 45 is president again?
Nada.
I’m going to continue buying property that pays for itself.
It’s been working for me for the last 13 years whether the president has been a Dem or a Republican.
People always need a place to live – me included.
So why not get paid to secure a place for myself to live?
I also wouldn’t be doing anything different if 47 was the first female POTUS.
That’s because my process for finding and profiting from multi family houses works the same regardless of who is running the country because it is based on math.
Math doesn’t change no matter who is in power.
And math is a solvable problem no matter what the numerical variables are.
Math I can control and maneurver
What the president does, I cannot.
I now choose to worry about and pay attention to what is in my control.
